I’m encouraged when I can meet new people, hear new music, and celebrate new experiences in my adopted hometown of Portland, Maine. I’ve called Maine home for quite a few years now, and one would think that I’ve seen all the sights and done all the thangs. But, there are days like today that reignite the excitement of living in such a cool area.
I have the pleasure of opening up for the legendary Kix Brooks, half of the famed duo Brooks & Dunn, at the gorgeous Seaside Pavilion in Old Orchard Beach. Owned and operated by the Salvation Army, this amazingly simple and beautiful outdoor amphitheater has been presenting concerts, and this is my first time laying eyes on it. Wow.
